LPGA Hall of Famer Annika Sorenstam and Mike McGee, Sorenstam’s boyfriend of three years, were married on Saturday near their home in Orlando, Fla. … Jim Brown, Ohio State University’s men’s golf coach and member of the Southern Ohio PGA Section, has been named winner of the Labron Harris Sr. Award by the PGA of America and the Golf Coaches Association of America. … Barnsley Gardens Resort in Adairsville, Ga., is the 2008 recipient of the Georgia Golf Course Owners Association‘s “Course of the Year” award. … Former three-time Atlantic 10 Conference Coach of the Year selection Jamie Green has been named the men’s coach at Duke University. … Haley Stephens of Greer, S.C., and Mark Joye of Columbia, S.C., are the respective 2008 Carolinas Junior Players of the Year. Joining Stephens on the All-Carolinas girls team are Anna Martin of Piedmont, S.C., and Courtney Taylor of Gastonia, N.C. Also on the All-Carolinas boys team are John Conners of Apex, N.C., and Corbin Mills of Easley, S.C. … Duke University women’s coach Dan Brooks announces that freshman Mina Harigae, a member of the 2008 U.S. Curtis Cup team and 2007 U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links champion, has left the program to focus on turning professional in 2009. Harigae, a native of Monterey, Calif., appeared in three tournaments during the fall for Duke as she notched two top-five finishes.

Golf Channel will air live coverage of the Sony Open in Hawaii Thursday-Saturday, Jan. 15-17, from 6:30-10:30 p.m. ET and on Sunday, Jan. 18, from 6:30-10 p.m. ET. Also, the European Tour’s Abu Dhabi Championship will air Jan. 15-18, 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. ET on tape delay.

Auburn’s Candace Schepperle picked up her second amateur tournament victory of the year Saturday, winning the 54th Harder Hall Invitational by seven strokes. Schepperle won the Dixie Amateur on Jan. 4.
