Motion Golf Expands Nationwide with 3-D Motion Capture Facilities for Swing Analysis, Golf Instruction and Fitness

Fairfield NJ – Motion Golf, LLC, an industry leader in golf improvement products and services, announces national expansion of 3-D motion capture studios for swing analysis, instruction and fitness.

The new flagship studio is located at 5100 PGA Blvd., just one block from PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Other locations are the New York Golf Center in Manhattan, the Joe Caruso Golf Academy in San Antonio, the Buck Mayers Golf Academy in Austin, Custom Golf of CT in Stamford, and Motion Golf White Plains, NY. Centers are planned in 2009 for Las Vegas, Southern California and Chicago.

Motion Golf studios are unique in their use of full-body, 3-D Swing Analysis to create complete, integrated swing and fitness instruction programs. Most importantly, the 3-D system is used in each lesson, giving the golfer instant bio-feedback for the quickest path to increased accuracy and distance on the course. Says Rick Martino, former Director of Instruction for the PGA of America, “It is the best feedback system I’ve ever seen.”

The Motion Golf System is based on the same motion capture technology used in movies such as Lord of the Rings and video games. Six high-speed cameras capture the golf swing and putting stroke in a three-dimensional, real-time image. Golfers can easily see their swing without background or other distractions. Further, proprietary software provides digital measurement that eliminates guesswork or estimates. Before/after comparisons of key swing parameters such as club head speed, spine angle, shoulder/hip rotation, and kinematic sequence are objective and specific.

42″ flat-panel monitors can display side-by-side or overlaid comparisons of the student’s swings throughout the lesson. With a library of PGA Tour player’s swings, this “over-lay” capability also allows the golfer to “step into” the swing of a pro, developing a true “feel” of the best swings.

Motion Golf’s unique, integrated swing and fitness training gives golfers even faster results. The physical conditioning program is designed to help the golfer easily execute the exact movements required in their Motion Golf lesson. Motion Golf Fitness is accessible to golfers of every age, from Junior Golfers to Seniors. The movements are easy but can have impact on the swing within a few days.

Motion Golf is Headquartered in Fairfield, NJ, with corporate studios and partner sites throughout the United States and Canada. For more information or to experience Motion Golf, please visit www.motiongolf.com.
