LAKE MARY, FL – Johnson & Wales University’s (JWU) Golf Management Program will sponsor a media reception in the International Network of Golf (ING) Hospitality Room at the PGA Merchandise Show on Thursday, January 29.
The reception will take place at 5:30 p.m. in the International Network of Golf Hospitality Room, ClubING, located in room 309-A in the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. Johnson & Wales will update attendees on its full emersion golf management curriculum which includes golf club design and repair; introduction to golf; introduction to teaching golf; golf teaching methods; rules to golf; tournament operations; and turf grass management and the programs growing presence in the South Florida community.
ClubING, hosted by the not-for-profit networking organization, the International Network of Golf, will be a beehive of activity throughout the three days of the PGA Merchandise Show. Two major award presentations are set for 12:30 p.m. the first two days: 16th Annual ING Media Awards Presentation Press Conference on Thursday and the 16th Annual ING Industry Honors Presentation Press Conference on Friday. Also taking place in ClubING will be product displays, guest speakers, and daily instructional clinics by PGA Master Professional Luther Blacklock of Explanar.
ING has been networking the golf industry since 1990. Its mission is to bring the golf media together with the golf industry to share information, test products and develop business relationships. The 19th Annual ING Spring Conference is at the incredible French Lick Resort May 17-21, 2009. Anyone in the golf industry and media is invited to participate in ING.
