Brentwood, Tennessee, January 12, 2009 … PrideSports, maker of Softspikes® golf cleats, the world’s best selling cleat brand, captured the PGA TOUR’s first event of 2009, as the winner of the Mercedes-Benz Championship wore PrideSports cleats. In addition to the victory, 2009 marks the 13th consecutive year that PrideSports plastic cleats will start the season as the #1 brand on the PGA TOUR.
Furthermore, an impressive 20 out of 33 players at the Mercedes-Benz Championship utilized the Company’s stable of products including Pulsar™, the #1 Cleat on TOUR, and Black Widow™, the world’s #1 selling golf cleat model.
