Kodak Challenge completes first hole of the season at Mercedes-Benz Championship with five eagles and five co-leaders

Kodak Challenge 2008 Facts & Figures (Had It Been Played)
If the Kodak Challenge had taken place during the 2008 season, there would have been an exciting finish with a tie* for first place. Patrick Sheehan and Jason Gore both tallied 16 under par (their low score relative to par on 18 Kodak Challenge holes). They were ranked 179 and 187, respectively, in the final 2008 World Money Rankings. There were 52 eligible players on the PGA TOUR (played at least 18 holes) and their average World Money Rank was 185. It’s anyone’s competition to win: two players finished in the Top 50 in the World Money Rank; nine players finished in the Top 100.
*In 2009, in the case of a tie, a sudden death playoff will take place on the final Kodak Challenge hole immediately following the conclusion of the Children’s Miracle Network Classic presented by Wal-Mart.
