#1 Driver, Wood, Hybrid shaft manufacturer at PGA Tour season opener

POWAY, Calif. – Armed with Aldila’s VooDoo® shaft featuring S-core Technology™ in his driver, the winner of the Mercedes-Benz Championship shot a 24-under-par (67-68-65-68=268) to dominate the field of Champions at the PGA Tour’s season-opening event winning by six strokes.
Not only did the Mercedes-Benz Championship winner rely on Aldila’s shaft in his driver, but the majority of the best players in the world chose Aldila as the shaft of choice for their driver, woods and hybrids as Aldila swept the shaft count at the event, according to the Darrell Survey.
“Being the number one driver, wood and hybrid shaft manufacturer at the Mercedes-Benz Championship demonstrates how the superior performance of Aldila’s new innovative shaft designs can help enhance the performance of even the top players in the world,” said Mike Rossi, Aldila’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “Since it’s introduction, the VooDoo has had multiple wins on Tour and was the most popular driver shaft at the Ryder Cup. Starting 2009 off with yet another VooDoo win reinforces our belief that the VooDoo, with its patent-pending S-core Technology, offers performance above and beyond any other shaft on the market today. As the VooDoo continues to grow in popularity on Tour, so does demand grow with the consumer. The VooDoo is now available through leading club manufacturers in their newest offerings.”
Players who choose the VooDoo experience the stability, accuracy and increased distance of its stabilized core. The VooDoo’s internal carbon-fiber rib system runs the length of the shaft and dramatically stabilizes its cross-section. The innovative rib structure increases hoop strength/stiffness so much that it is 80 percent greater than conventional graphite, and up to 60 percent greater than competitors’ attempts at cross-sectional stabilization.
“When given the choice, it’s great to see that the best players in the world rely on the superior performance of Aldila’s innovative new shaft designs,” said Rossi.
Aldila has the unique ability to define the intangibles of the game of golf. To translate numbers into theory, theory into practice, and practice into perfection. They do the experimenting so you don’t have to. Pushing success to the edge and redefining how power should feel. Are you playing Aldila, or just graphite?
