DENVER, January 14, 2009 – Golf Digest named the soon-to-be-released YES! C-Groove Tracy III Plus to its “2009 Hot List.” The Tracy Plus III is the first putter that offers four interchangeable hosel options. YES! putters featuring C-Groove technology have been on the Golf Digest “Hot List” for five consecutive years. The Abbie and Hanna were named to the “Hot List” in 2008, the Callie-f in 2007, Dianna in 2006, and Tracy was on the 2005 list.
“The concept was developed in direct response to the requests from our tour players,” said Francis Ricci, CEO and president of YES! Golf. “By combining C-Groove technology and interchangeable hosel technology you have the most advance putter in the industry. By receiving Golf Digest’s Gold Medal award, it gives YES! Golf strong validation of our technological advancements in the putter category.”
The annual Golf Digest “Hot List” names the best of the best in six product categories. The putter category was divided into blade and mallet putters. The Tracy III Plus received a Gold Medal award for blade putters over $200.
The Tracy III Plus is a blade putter designed after one of YES! Golf’s most popular putters. The Tracy III Plus head and accompanying hosels are made with CNC milled 303 stainless forged steel precision parts for incredible feel and has a head weight of 350 grams that includes the hosel. The putter has a single sight alignment line in the cavity of the putter head. It also has a loft of 2.5 degrees (2 degrees flat or upright available) and lie of 72 degrees with length options of 33-35 inches. It is available Feb. 15 in right hand only at a suggested retail of $360.
The plumber neck hosel is standard in the Tracy III Plus. Three other hosel options are sold separately ̶ slant neck, face balanced and pronounced heel-toe hang. By changing the hosel, golfers can custom fit their putter anywhere from a 5-degree toe-hang blade to a pronounced toe-hang blade by simply unscrewing the shafted hosel and inserting a new shafted hosel option.
Yes! Golf, based in Denver, Colo., is the proven leader in grooved putter technology. Harold Swash, known as the European putting doctor, introduced the innovative theory of concentric grooves in 1995. Today, C-Groove putters are taking the golf world by storm making Yes! Golf one of the fastest growing putters on the professional tours. For information on Yes! Golf, call 800.845.4327 or visit www.yesgolf.com.
