Irvine, CA (January 10, 2009) — Scuti Grips will debut a line of Eco-Friendly Grips (EFG) at this month’s PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando. The new feel of the grip is sure to impress golfers.

Last year, Scuti Grips released the BigLite Super Jumbo Putter Grip at the PGA Merchandise Show. This ultra-light weight, super jumbo putter grip was well accepted and is now used by players on all four tours. It was used by the winner of the Kolon Championship on the LPGA tour and notched 4 top 5 finishes on the PGA Tour in its first year.

This year, Scuti Grips will offer the BigLite EFG golf grips for woods & irons in various sizes. The new grips will be available in standard, mid-size and over-size versions.

“We are very excited about the BigLite EFG line, “says Tower Chang, marketing director for Scuti Grips, “Our grips offer many benefits over traditional rubber grips. Our grips are environmentally friendly, ultra light weight, and offer superior shock absorbing power.”

Instead of rubber or plastics, the new BigLite EFG grips are made of eco-friendly, biodegradable foam material. The golf industry is not recycling rubber grips; therefore, a biodegradable grip can help golfers do their part to help the environment.

Golfers will like the superior shock absorbing power this grip offers. There are millions of microscopic air bubbles in our foam grips to help absorb and dissipate the shock and vibration from the impact to the ground.

Finally, the BigLite EFG foam grips are 60 % lighter than rubber. The BigLite putter grip is the only super jumbo putter grip that will not change the feel of a putter.

“Other super jumbo putter grips made of rubber are just too heavy,” said Chang.

Retail pricing for the new eco-friendly grip starts under $10 for an iron grip to $25 for the Super Jumbo putter grip.

“This is a revolutionary grip technology. We are certain that golfers will enjoy these new grips in 2009.” Chang added.
