KALAMAZOO, MI. (January 7, 2009) – Player’s Pass, the nation’s leading provider of reduced-fee golf at golf courses nationwide, announced today that it has hired the Maxwell & Miller Marketing Firm, a Michigan-based company, to handle all new promotional programs for the company.
Player’s Pass, which recently passed the $7 million mark in charitable contributions for high school athletics, golf teams and junior golf, will be handling all operations from a new central location in Kalamazoo, Michigan..
Andy Mears, President of Player’s Pass and a member of the Growth of the Game Committee in the Michigan Section PGA, will work closely with his new marketing team to continue the tremendous growth Player’s Pass has enjoyed over the last few years.
“Play More Golf is the Player’s Pass motto and high school athletic fundraising helped us rise quickly as a relatively new company to now being a leader in the discount golf industry,” said Mears. “We feel we have just begun to tap our potential. Maxwell and Miller is an experienced marketing firm that should help us grow even faster in the 21st century. Also, being based in Michigan, it will help me work closer with them.”
Since 2001, Player’s Pass has helped more than 500,000 golfers save money on their rounds of golf, as well as raising more than $7 million for high school athletic programs and junior golf development.
Player’s Pass, which promotes expanded participation at golf facilities nationwide through a reduced-fee program, is sold as a fundraising product, as a corporate premium product, direct marketed via the Internet and beginning in March 2009 through retail stores and golf pro shops. Details are available at www.playerspass.com.
