The Putting Game, an Indoor Golf Game, is Scheduled to Debut at PGA Merchandise Show

McHenry, Illinois (January 15, 2009) – The Putting Game, a new system that provides fun and excitement as well precision to a golfer’s putting, is scheduled to debut nationally during the PGA Merchandise Show January 29-31 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

Offering numerous games and putting challenges, The Putting Game is designed to be used indoors on a carpeted floor. It is different because it uses a “virtual cup” (not a physical cup) and is “stimp aware” to provide feedback on putt distance.

“We named it The Putting Game because it’s a putting game that improves your ‘putting game’. More than just a training aid, it’s an extremely entertaining indoor golf game,” said Fred Knecht, Director of Sales and Marketing.

“Non-golfers will purchase it just to play the games, golfers will purchase it to improve their putting game because it truly is a powerful putting training aid, both will absolutely love using it,” said Knecht. “With no physical cup, it’s the first of its kind.”

The most popular, Game “500”, is an accuracy challenge where golfers must putt as close to the center target as possible. The LED screen (just above where the ball strikes) lights up and leaves a mark show where the ball actually hit. A golfer only gets five attempts. While scoring 500 is very difficult, it’s not impossible.

“This game alone will keep a golfer coming back for more,” said Knecht.

Other games areThe Shrinking Hole another game of accuracy; Inside Left, Center Cup, Inside Right a drill used by many pros, and many Lag games where golfers have to roll putts as close as possible to the correct speed to score.

Other features of The Putting Game include convenient foot switches for power on; game selection & reset; a unique bounce-beam design which conveniently returns the ball to you; and operates on (two “C” size batteries) or AC adapter.
