The Association of Golf Clubfitting Professionals – http://www.agcpgolf.com – has announced the dates for this year’s annual Roundtable Education Convention to be held in Columbus, Georgia. The dates are October 14, 15, 16, 17, 2009. The event this year will be held in two locations. There will be a Demo Day and half day presentation at Woodland Hills, G. C. in Midland, Georgia on Wednesday October 14. Sponsors will be set up on the Range with demonstration clubs so those attending can test their shafts, heads, and other equipment displayed in a live setting. In addition International Clubmaker of the year Dana Upshaw and International Clubmaker of the year Bob Uebelhor will conduct a training session for half a day and demonstrate Club Dynamics and Swing Dynamics. They will teach us how to analyze a golf swing and know what faults can be corrected by changing the golf club and what faults a teaching Pro needs to fix. They will teach attendees how to change the flex, length, weight, and balance point on a club to achieve the correction needed for your golfer to play his best game of golf if the fault is an equipment problem. This will give AGCP members a chance to see in a live setting what the ball flight looks like for particular swing faults or equipment faults and practical advice for correcting their golfers.
