(VIENNA, Virginia) – Buffalo Communications (“Buffalo”) – the golf, lifestyle and travel publicity, media-relations and marketing-communications firm that is a division of Billy Casper Golf – has promoted Tom Williams to Vice President.

In his new position, Williams will help direct corporate strategy while overseeing the company’s golf and lifestyle products division. He will also manage Buffalo’s growth in the lifestyle marketplace, including category expansion and new business.

“Buffalo Communications’ client retention rate is extremely high, and Tom’s contributions play an integral role,” says Rich Katz, Managing Director of Buffalo. “His strategic, tactical and creative approach to establishing brands helps clients substantially increase sales.”

Prior to joining Buffalo in 2003, Williams was a reporter for the United States Golf Association Golf Journal. A University of Richmond graduate, Williams has been an award-winning contributor to several national golf, business, music and lifestyle media outlets and worked for best-selling author/screenwriter Mark Frost.
