Tiger Shark Golf, the new owner of SuperStroke Grips after their acquisition of the company last week, reports that the current #13 player in the FedEx Cup point standings used a blue Proline SuperStroke grip en route to a 12th place finish at the Sony Open. The South Korean ranked 13th in putts per round using the jumbo grip. At the Mercedes Championship, the player finished 9th in putting with an average of 1.746 putts per greens in regulation.
Fellow SuperStroke player Matt Bettencourt played in his first ever PGA TOUR event at the Sony Open. Bettencourt made the cut in Hawaii with a T59 even-par performance.
