NEW BEDFORD, Mass., January 22, 2009 – AHEAD, a leader in golf headwear, apparel and accessories will debut a new ornamentation technique next week at the 2009 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Fla. The Vintage Label ornamentation has a nostalgic style and uses a new printing technique that features “at once” technology negating any lead times.
“It’s easily one of the more versatile techniques we’ve ever developed,” said Chuck Lord, chief creative officer. “This Vintage label uses a revolutionary printing technique that can incorporate our embroidery enhancements as well.”
The Vintage Label is unique from other ornamentation techniques because of the “at once” technology. The label can be color matched to the order and can accommodate a custom logo or the customer can choose from hundreds of AHEAD’s “name drop” graphics already on file.
The Vintage Label is available for ornamentation on AHEAD headwear and casual apparel. Programs are in development that may allow for mini-assortments of graphic designs, giving it broader retail appeal.
AHEAD will be showcasing this new Vintage Label ornamentation and printing technique at booths 5361 and 5377 during the PGA Merchandise Show, Jan. 29-31 at the Orange Country Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
