As 2009 PGA Tours Kick Off, RT Technologies Expects More and More Pros To Use Its Shafts Based on Increased ’08 Tour Play
Lake Charles, LA, January 26, 2008 – RT Technologies 2008 year end tour results were announced today as a prelude to what the company expects will be an outstanding 2009 out on Tour. The Nationwide Tour will still be RT Tech’s stronghold, although four great players that used RT shafts last year have moved up to the PGA Tour. The number 14, 15, 22 and 25 players on last year’s PGA Nationwide Tour Money Leader list earned PGA Tour cards using RT Technology shafts.
On the Champions Tour in 2008, the # 1 player on the Champions Money Leader List was joined by the # 13, 19, 21 and 32 Money Leaders in using one or more RT shafts. On the PGA Tour, RT shafts had a nice introduction by the 71st and 73rd PGA Tour Money Leader List finishers. All told, 2008 was an outstanding year for RT shafts and the company is looking forward to an even better 2009.
Worldwide, RT is still a relatively unknown entity but it looks like that situation will be changing for the better. RT Technologies has struck a deal with a PGA European Tour rep so its shafts will be available on that Tour for the first time ever. Details of this agreement should be coming soon.
