Monthly Winners Receive OCN Gift Cards
Winter Garden, Fla., January 23, 2009 – Orange County National, host of the 2010 PGA Tour’s Qualifying School finals is giving golfers a chance to earn their card. Not a PGA Tour card, but an OCN Gift Card. The award-wining facility and home of Panther Lake and Crooked Cat courses is kicking off the year with a new six-month promotion awarding monthly prizes worth $3,000. The “Play Hard For Your Card” promotion gives golfers an opportunity to win an OCN Gift Card redeemable for golf, lodging and merchandise each month from January through June.
Golfers can enter the “Play Hard For Your Card” promotion by simply filling out an entry form in the golf shop at the Orange County National. At the end of each month a drawing will be held awarding the following prizes:
First Place: $1000 OCN Gift Card
Second Place: $600 OCN Gift Card
Third Place: $500 OCN Gift Card
Fourth Place: $400 OCN Gift Card
Fifth Place: $300 OCN Gift Card
Sixth Place: $200 OCN Gift Card
“Our 2008 “Play Hard Win Big promotion” was a huge success,” said Jimmy Bell, Orange County National ‘s director of sales and marketing. “It encouraged golfers to keep coming out and playing Orange County National for a chance to win valuable prizes. We gave away $40,000 in prizes last year. The new Play Hard For Your Card is a play off of the PGA Tour Qualifying School that we will again be hosting in 2010. Golfers won’t win a PGA Tour card but the next best thing, a OCN Gift Card that they can redeem for more golf. All they have to do is come out and play and the more they play the more chances they have to win.”
Entry forms are available in the Orange County National golf shop. One entry per person is allowed per day. Six winners will be selected each month, January through June. The monthly winners will be posted on the Orange County National website.
