‘The Hottest Shafts in Golf’ also win woods & hybrids count
POWAY, Calif. – After switching to Aldila’s VooDoo® shaft in his TaylorMade R9™ Driver, the winner of the 50th Bob Hope Classic secured his first PGA Tour victory putting a seven-year winless streak to rest. The victory makes 10 combined Tour wins for the VooDoo and 2 wins in the first 3 events of the 2009 PGA Tour season.
The Bob Hope Classic hosted by Arnold Palmer winner finished the five-day event with a 33-under-par (61-63-67-67-69=327) to win by three strokes. The second-place finisher was also using Aldila’s NV® shafts in his woods.
Aldila was also the number one wood and hybrid shafts manufacturer at the Bob Hope Classic with more than twice as many hybrid shafts in play than the leading competition, according to the Darrell Survey.
“Players are making the switch to the VooDoo with S-core Technology™ after experiencing the stability, accuracy and increased distance of its stabilized core,” said Stewart Bahl, Aldila’s Marketing Manager. “The ‘magic’ is VooDoo’s internal carbon-fiber rib system that runs the length of the shaft and dramatically stabilizes its cross-section. The innovative rib structure increases hoop strength/stiffness so much that it is 80 percent greater than conventional graphite, and up to 60 percent greater than competitors’ attempts at cross-sectional stabilization.”
Aldila has the unique ability to define the intangibles of the game of golf. To translate numbers into theory, theory into practice, and practice into perfection. They do the experimenting so you don’t have to. Pushing success to the edge and redefining how power should feel. Are you playing Aldila, or just graphite?
