Changes Targeted to Teachers, Fitters
Winston-Salem, NC January 27, 2009)
AccuSport International, Inc. today announced new teaching, fitting and practice software. VTeach, VFit and VRange will be available to users of the Vector, Vector Pro, Vector Pro with Micro-lenses and VectorX launch systems.
AccuSport, with over 9,000 installed launch systems around the world, is the leading developer and marketer of golf launch monitors and its Vector Launch System is recognized throughout the golf industry for its accuracy, portability and affordability.
“We’re very excited with these new developments,” said Andy Allen, AccuSport’s U.S. Sales Manager. “VTeach and VFit will ship standard with any Vector Pro with Micro-lenses purchase,” Allen stated. “Additionally, current Vector Pro customers will now have the option of purchasing the new software by having their current systems upgraded to the new micro-lenses,” Allen continued.
VTeach allows users to connect a video camera and stream lesson video along side launch monitor data. Instructors can draw lines and circles, play-back in ¼ or frame-by-frame and track shot trajectories with the Profile option
VFit contains detailed shot data, 13 color shot plotting and a Plot Summary to quickly and easily compare club averages for bag mapping. Both modules provide access to a full database for storing student or customer information and retrieving lesson or fitting sessions.
VRange is available from AccuSport as an add-on module. Selling for $1,500 (PGA Show Special of $1,200), the module presents realistic ball flight simulation on the user’s choice of four pre-defined distances – 350 yards, 225 yards, 155 yards or 105 yards. VRange fully integrates to VTeach and VFit if those modules are present, or can operate in a stand-alone mode. The module allows for multiple options for shot plotting, clustering and expandable windows for Shot History or “What If” analysis. AccuSport has made VRange available to original Vector customers to help extend the life of their systems via fresh software.
“These are great tools for teachers and fitters,” Allen said, “but VRange can also be used as a quick and easy practice tool for members or customers. The pre-defined distance targets make switching and tracking clubs simple. We fully expect to see these applications used in both a full-service and practice environment.”
AccuSport will be in Orlando for the PGA Show beginning January 29th and can be visited at Booth # 2003. VTeach, VFit and VRange will be available for customer review. VTeach and VFit will begin shipping on February 10th followed by VRange on February 17th.
