THOMPSONVILLE, MICH. (January 27, 2009) – Adam Schriber, instructor to the PGA’s Anthony Kim and LPGA’s Morgan Pressel and Candie Kung, and Brad Dean, two-time Michigan PGA Teacher of the Year who played in the 2008 PGA Championship at Oakland HiIlls, will bring Crystal Mountain’s award-winning Junior Golf Academy to Forest Akers Golf Course at Michigan State University for a special clinic on Saturday, March 14.

Michigan Junior Golf Day, held indoors at Forest Akers Golf Course (9am-4:30pm), will focus on the philosophy of Crystal Mountain’s Junior Elite program to train golfers as athletes. The day will feature four breakout sessions in which Dean and Schriber will provide full-swing and short-game instruction as well as insight on how to practice effectively. In addition, students will receive biomechanical analysis from Chris Welch, expert in biomechanics and golf-specific fitness. During lunch four-time LPGA Tour winner and Adam Schriber student Candie Kung will be the guest speaker.

The cost to attend Michigan Junior Golf Day is $79 and will be limited to just 100 students. Each junior will receive a biomechanical progressive skill training CD, full-swing and short-game fundamentals CD, full-swing and short-game practice regimen, buffet lunch and junior tour and tournament information. Plus, every student will get a 20% discount on a 2009 Crystal Mountain Junior Elite Weekend or Week-long Instructional program. To register contact Forest Akers Golf Course at 517-355-1635.
