Historic club prepares to host Champions TOUR AT&T Classic for ninth consecutive year
ORLANDO, Fla. Feb. 2, 2009 – CNL Lifestyle Properties, Inc., owner of Valencia Country Club in Valencia, Calif., announced today it has hired KemperSports to operate the exclusive membership club. The long-time PGA TOUR stop, which will be the 14th golf course inCalifornia to be managed by KemperSports, has been ranked by Golf Digest as one of the top 25 courses in the state. The property features a Robert Trent Jones Sr.-designed, par-72, 7,076-yard layout nestled in the foothills of the Santa Clarita Valley.

Built in 1965 and located approximately 30 miles from downtown Los Angeles, the historic course has played host to many major golf events, including the PGA TOUR’s Nissan Open. The Champions TOUR AT&T Classic, is set to take place at Valencia Country Club March 9-15, 2009, and will be televised on The Golf Channel. The club also has hosted numerous U.S. Open and U.S. Amateur qualifying events in previous years.
