New Lizzie line, custom Swarovski crystal work receive rave reviews
CHATSWORTH, Calif. – From the time the doors opened at the PGA Merchandise Show this past weekend until they closed each night, the Gogie Girl booth was a constant flurry of activity as PGA Professionals, industry leaders, top manufacturers, and golf organization members stopped by to see what the golf community has been raving about in women’s headwear. Gogie Girl, the number one choice in women’s athletic headwear, is a stylish and sporty headwear line designed exclusively by women for women.
During this year’s PGA Show, LPGA Hall of Famer Annika Sorenstam spent some time in the Gogie Girl booth autographing her Signature Headwear Collection designed exclusively by Gogie Girl while PGA Tour veteran and Tour wine connoisseur Duffy Waldorf held a wine tasting for guests. All attendees who came to visit during the Show were given a hat from Annika’s Signature Headwear Collection.
“We had a tremendous Show and received a lot of new orders including many repeat orders which proves that the club pros across the country are catching on to what we are doing,” said Vicky Waldorf co-founder of Gogie Girl Women’s Headwear. “Women are purchasing our headwear because they are looking for it and understand the Gogie Girl difference.”
During the show, the response to the new Lizzie line (a classy tencel/cotton blend that is fashionable and stylish) received great reviews. All of the custom Swarovski crystal work that the Gogie Girl team puts in to customizing the clubs logos has been a huge hit.
“There’s nothing else that makes us feel better than to see a lady come by our booth and share with us that they normally don’t wear hats because they don’t fit, and then try one of ours on and instantly fall in love with it”, said Cindy Gilmore (Co-founder of Gogie Girl). “Vicky and I work really hard and are very passionate about our headwear line. We know ourselves that this is an item in the headwear department that we had been looking for and it just didn’t exist … until we started the line ourselves.”
Gogie Girl Women’s headwear will be available on many shelves this year throughout the country in pro shops as well as in the merchandise tents of professional touring events like the Kraft Nabisco Championship, the Honda Classic, the Shell Houston Open and the 2009 Women’s U.S. Open in Saucon Valley.
