A roster of some of the golf industry’s most influential and successful marketing experts will lead a special Strategic Marketing Symposium at the Spring Golf Inc. Conference at the Renaissance World Golf Village in St. Augustine, Fla., on Monday, March 30.
Open to regular Conference attendees or at a fee to Symposium-only attendees, the Monday afternoon session will feature speakers including ClubCorp USA Senior Vice President of Strategic Alliance & Global Sales Mark Murphy, Century Golf Partners principal Doug Howe, long-time ClubCorp Senior Vice President for Membership and Sales and current EAGLE Golf Chief Marketing Officer Frank Gore, Troon Golf Senior Vice President for Business Development Scott Van Newkirk, PGA Tour Golf Course Properties Director of Revenue, Rick Shoemaker and Symposium moderator Stephen Ready, President & CEO of VCT Corporation.
These experts and others will reveal the tactics that are working today, for both private clubs and public play facilities, to build play and memberships and to create loyalty in both daily fee customers and private club members. Attendees will not only have the opportunity to interact with some of the industry’s leading experts, but will be given winning ideas and templates to take home to their own properties.
“Particularly in these tough economic times, everyone has to work smarter, and we are pleased to offer this opportunity for our conference attendees to learn from some of the industry’s best and brightest,” said Jim Dunlap, Golf Inc. senior editor. “These speakers have walked the walk and continue to do it today with top companies. This is an unprecedented chance to pick their brains face-to-face.”
