AccuPutt™ laser training system impresses retailers, industry leaders, PGA pros at 56th PGA Merchandise Show

MELBOURNE, Fla. – Golf industry professionals, retailers and PGA professionals from around the world seized the opportunity to test the most unique laser putting training system on the market, the AccuPutt™, at the 56th PGA Merchandise Show Jan. 29-31 in Orlando.

“It was an extremely successful show for us from many standpoints,” said AccuPutt™ Founder & President Ralph Blanchard. “We certainly gained a lot of exposure within the industry and it seemed that everyone who tried our product could instantly see the benefits of our compact, portable training system.”

The AccuPutt system was invented by Blanchard, an entrepreneur and inventor with an MBA and a background in commercial aviation and Airport Administration to improve his inconsistent putting stroke. The AccuPutt™ laser putting training system strips away the lines, tracks and guides of traditional putting devices to create a true on-green practice experience guaranteed to improve your putting.

“AccuPutt will lower your golf score by efficiently and naturally training your muscle memory to develop and consistently produce a perfect putting stroke without any artificial or mechanical mechanisms,” said Blanchard.

The first part of the system shoots an invisible straight line with a Class-1 laser down the center of a practice green. There’s a hole in the putter face that the laser must travel perfectly straight through so as not to break the invisible line.

There’s a green LED on the base of the unit that appears while the invisible line remains unbroken. However, if the line is broken, a red LED and an audio unit are activated. These responses provide immediate, accurate feedback.

As you practice your stroke without breaking the laser line, the muscles of your shoulders, arms and back are systematically programmed to produce the kind of precise and consistent accuracy you’ve always wanted.

Through a series of tests, Blanchard developed a low profile putter with the same feel and weight of a normal putter. The aperture in the putter is adjustable so that as the golfer’s putting improves, he/she can continue to challenge themselves until their putting stroke is as pure, consistent and deadly accurate.

“After practicing with AccuPutt on a consistent basis, you can develop such a pure stroke that you can putt well with any putter … even with a stick,” Blanchard said.

While the AccuPutt laser training system promotes a straight back putting stroke, it also accommodates an arc stroke of six to eight degrees by opening the aperture wider.

“The rate of improvement is in correlation with the amount of practice time put in,” said Blanchard, “but we’ve found that the improvement is usually 33 percent in the first 30 days.”
