Compliments of Desert Toyota, Aliante Golf Club, Angel Park Golf Club and The Legacy Golf Club
LAS VEGAS, Nevada – Andrew Hardin was awarded a new Toyota Camry after he bested other competitors in a putting shootout at Angel Park Golf Club on Saturday, January 10. The Toyota Camry was given away in part to promote the sale of the OB Sports Golf Card, an annual program that allows golfers to play Aliante, Angel Park and The Legacy Golf Clubs at preferred rates in addition to other special perks. This marks the fifth time that OB Sports has given away an automobile, and the second time OB has teamed up with Desert Toyota of Las Vegas.
The names of 40 cardholders were drawn over a five-month period (eight per month from August to December). Then, this January, the finalists gathered at Angel Park Golf Club for a putting contest: First Prize was a brand new 2009 Toyota Camry.
“It was a huge surprise,” said Hardin. “I got a little lucky at times but was able to hang on just long enough. It’s a bit shocking because I’ve never won something like this before. Thanks to Angel Park, Desert Toyota and OB Sports for such a memorable day.”
OB Sports Golf Management (management company for Aliante, Angel Park and The Legacy) joined forces with Desert Toyota of Las Vegas to give the OB Sports Golf Card a value-added kick. Jason Kirste, Finance Manager, and John Iannuzzi, Sales Manager, for Desert Toyota of Las Vegas were in attendance to personally present Andrew with his new car.
“It’s so much fun to be associated with this event,” said Kirste. “He just won a brand new car, not just a one-year lease, a brand new car.”
With the purchase of the 2009 OB Sports Golf Card, golfers save substantially on green fees at three popular local golf facilities. Currently on sale for $149 (for residents) and $249 for out of state residents, this money-saving frequent player program offers preferred rates for the card holder and up to three guests at Aliante Golf Club in North Las Vegas, Angel Park Golf Club in Las Vegas and The Legacy Golf Club in Henderson. The OB Sports Golf Card also entitles the cardholder to golf shop discounts,, complimentary tournaments, preferred rates at several other OB Sports-affiliated golf clubs throughout the U. S., and a number of other money saving benefits.
“We’re delighted with the continued popularity of the OB Sports Golf Card and were very excited to partner once again Desert Toyota for this tremendous promotion” said Kris Strauss, director of sales and marketing for OB Sports Golf Management. “We congratulate Mr. Harding on his exciting win and thank all of our loyal OB Sports Cardholders for their continued support of what is widely regarded as the best golf card value in Las Vegas.”
