BANDON, Ore., Feb. 16, 2009 – Bandon Dunes Golf Resort announced today that its much anticipated fourth course, Old Macdonald, is taking reservations now for limited preview play from April 1 to October 1, 2009.
Old Macdonald, designed by Tom Doak and Jim Urbina, will be open first to past and current resort guests wishing to preview the golf course on a 10-hole loop for a rate of $110. Only 32 players per day will be allowed on the course.
The full 18-hole course is set to open on June 1, 2010. The design and strategies of each hole can be linked to the design attributes by the course’s namesake and the grandfather of golf course architecture in America, Charles Blair Macdonald.
