ORLANDO, Fla., (Feb. 19, 2009) – Golfweek, the most authoritative, authentic and independent name in golf, is bringing its popular Golfest event series back to The Polo Fields at The Villages March 6-7. Presented by Winn Grips, Golfweek’s Golfest is the largest outdoor golf lifestyle extravaganza and demo day in the country, offering consumers an unprecedented opportunity to try and buy the latest golf equipment, apparel and accessories in an inviting festival environment.

Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to donate to “Grow the Game with Golfweek and The First Tee” – a grassroots fundraiser that helps perpetuate the game of golf by supporting the youth-serving programs of The First Tee. Golfweek’s Golfest is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Advanced tickets may be purchased at any golf facility at The Villages ($12 for two-day admission and $8 for one-day admission). Daily admission at the gate is $10 for adults; children 16 and under are free.
