Selection Sunday Golf Tournament Enables NCAA Tournament Bound Alumni To Relive College Glory Days
GALLOWAY, N.J.-February 25, 2009…Calling all college hoops junkies, selection Sunday has new meaning this year, as Seaview Resort & Spa will host its first-ever March Madness/Sweet 16 Golf Tournament. Relive the college experience by getting off the couch and grabbing some old college buddies, donning your school colors, and enjoying a fun filled day out on the links.
On Sunday, March 15, foursomes representing their college of choice can participate in the March Madness/Sweet 16 Golf Tournament for only $15 per person. Following a round on one of Seaview’s Championship courses, participants are invited to “relive the good ol’ days” as Seaview hosts a post-tournament frat party complete with pizza, kegs of beer and several big screen TV’s which will be airing the NCAA tournament selection show from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Remember, no sporting event is complete without a cheering section so bring along some friends sporting their alumni colors to watch the tournament and root for their favorite teams! The March Madness/Sweet 16 Golf Tournament is open to a limited number of teams. Among the several universities confirmed are Rutgers, Penn State and Michigan.
