CHAMP Spikes on Winner of Accenture Match Play and majority of Mayakoba participants.
Marlborough, MA – A two tournament week proves to be double the success for MacNeill Engineering/CHAMP®, the world leader in sport cleat technology. Starting at the Mayakoba Golf Classic in Cancun, CHAMP celebrates another great showing as the Scorpion Stinger™ spike dominates with players in the field. A large percentage of the players wore the Stinger as well as the other CHAMP models showing again an example of why we are the #1 brand on the PGA Tour.
This years Accenture Match Play had similar excitement when the world’s best players try to survive in hopes of being crowned the winner. As the leaderboard grew smaller each day, the CHAMP spike participation was present in large numbers. Beginning with over 50% of the field representing CHAMP, the eventual finish showed that the strong will survive and the winner wore CHAMP spikes.
“This weeks two tournaments add to the pattern we are seeing where CHAMP spikes not only have a presence but continue to dominate weekly on the PGA Tour.” states Harris MacNeill, President and CEO of MacNeill Engineering/CHAMP. “We are consistently seeing players change to CHAMP spikes for the durability, comfort and traction that our products offer.”
CHAMP is the premiere brand of MacNeill Engineering Worldwide, which has been designing and manufacturing athletic footwear components since 1931.
