Award Based on Sales of More than 5,000 Vehicles
AUGUSTA, GA (March 9, 2009) – Veseys Equipment, a distributor of Club Car golf cars and utility vehicles serving Canada’s Atlantic Provinces, will be recognized on March 10 with the Club Car Sales Achievement Award at the 2009 Canadian Golf Superintendents Association International Conference and Trade Show in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Veseys Equipment, a division of York, P.E.I.-based Veseys Seeds Ltd., earned the distinction based on sales of more than 5,000 vehicles to courses in Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Newfoundland since it became a Club Car distributor in 1996.
The family-owned business is one of the largest grounds maintenance equipment distributors in eastern Canada, serving the golf course, municipal, landscape and residential markets. Veseys is one of more than 45 distributors of Club Car golf cars and utility vehicles in the U.S. and Canada.

Veseys Seeds, which has been in operation since 1939, employs 100 people at its York location. Vice President Gerry Simpson gives his sales and service team the credit for the Club Car award.
