(March 10, 2009 – Coral Springs, FL) – Caddy For A Cure, Inc., the opportunity of a golfing lifetime to go inside the ropes and caddy for the world’s best players at PGA TOUR venues, is returning to Texas this May with exciting opportunities at the HP Byron Nelson Championship and the Crowne Plaza Invitational. The HP Byron Nelson will be held at the TPC Four Seasons Resort in Irving, May 18th-24th and the Crowne Plaza Invitational will be held again at the famous Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, May 25th-May 31st.
Caddy For A Cure offers PGA TOUR player caddy opportunities through its website (www.caddyforacure.com) and eBay auctions with 100% of auction proceeds donated to charity, including to the Fanconi Anemia Research Fund and to the Wounded Warrior Project. Many locally-based charities, including the Salesmanship Club Youth and Family Centers in the greater Dallas area and Cook Children’s Hospital will also benefit from the participation of Caddy For A Cure at these events.
The PGA TOUR players up for auction for the HP Byron Nelson include two hugely popular Texas residents, Chad Campbell and Justin Leonard. The Crowne Plaza Invitational will include a caddy opportunity for multi-talented celebrity, George Lopez, in addition to PGA TOUR superstars Stewart Cink, Tim Herron and Fredrik Jacobson. The auctions for the HP Byron Nelson will run through Sunday, May 17th, 2009 or until sold, which occurs first and thru Sunday, May 24th for the Crowne Plaza Invitational. The caddy dates are Wednesday, May 20th for the HP Byron Nelson and Wednesday, May 27th during the Pro-Am rounds.
