Magazine has announced the continuation of its relationship with instructional guru Dave Pelz as well as with Golfweek Magazine Senior Writer Jeff Rude. Both will provide monthly columns covering an array of topics.
Golf’s foremost authority on the short game and putting, Dave Pelz has committed his working life to research and teaching, to help golfers worldwide lower their scores. With his uniquely analytical approach to the game, the former NASA scientist has proven that improving skills within 100 yards of the hole is the fastest route to lowering handicaps and has designed instruction to teach those shots properly. In the March issue of Golf Chicago, Pelz provides insight into his three basic principles of bunker play.
Award-winning journalist Jeff Rude has been a Senior Writer at Golfweek since 1995, with an emphasis on covering the PGA Tour and writing columns. He has been to and provided coverage for more than 70 major championships. The Orlando-based Rude was born and raised Chicago’s far north suburbs and has won numerous national writing awards, including several First Place honors in Golf Writers Association of America contests.
Rude’s one-of-a-kind “Hate to be Rude” video segment appears weekly on Golfweek.com as well as during the season on Golf Chicago TV, airing on Comcast SportsNet.
