Cerritos, California – March 23, 2009 GolfBuddy announced today that two new menu language options have been added to the GolfBuddy Pro and Tour Units. In addition to English and Korean, users now have the option to navigate through menus in French and German as well.

“We are thrilled to see the roll out of the multi-language versions of GolfBuddy Tour and Pro models. This will have a tremendous impact on our ability to market the product to citizens of France, Germany, Austria and parts of Africa. GolfBuddy is the only brand that brings such versatility to its consumers and this advantage will surely develop a great following for the brand and its products” Said John Ennis, General Manager of GolfBuddy Europe.

Other menu language options are currently in development and will be made available in the coming months and Spanish and Italian will be the next languages to be offered.

All new GolfBuddy units being shipped to distributors in the United States and Europe will be programmed with the new French and German language options. Customers who have purchased a GolfBuddy Pro or Tour, without the new menu language options, may update their units by performing a free software upgrade.

GolfBuddy Pro and Tour units both offer the same advanced features, but the Tour comes equipped with a color screen. GolfBuddy is currently the only hand-held GPS rangefinder on the market that comes with courses from all over the world pre-programmed into its memory and is capable of storing up to 20,000 courses. All the available courses in North America come pre-loaded, with no annual fees or download fees. It also features automatic course and hole recognition, a scorecard function, and a function that allows users to measure the distance of their shots.
