French Lick, IN – French Lick Resort, located in southern Indiana, will host one of golf industry’s premier golf organizations, the International Network of Golf (ING). The 19th Annual ING Spring Conference will be held May 17-21.

As a special incentive, ING is waiving its $75 membership fee for any member of the media who attends the 19th Annual ING Spring Conference at French Lick, and who is not a current ING member. Anyone who is a member of the media, golf industry, or travel business, is invited to join ING and attend the conference. Entry forms can be found at www.inggolf.com.

The ING Conference will allow members of the golf industry and media a first-hand look at the new Pete Dye designed golf course, which officially opens this spring. This will be one of the first opportunities for members of the golf industry to experience the most highly anticipated new course opening in 2009.

Pete Dye will also be on hand to discuss the stunning new course and answer questions about French Lick and the other gems of his Hall of Fame career.

The four-day conference is full of educational events, networking opportunities, product displays and tests, and lots of golf. The very popular ING One-On-One Appointment Show returns to the itinerary on Tuesday morning. The appointment show provides attendees a platform for private meetings to encourage business networking. Also on the diverse ING itinerary will be workshops, speakers, the Demo Lab, a State of the Industry Discussion Breakfast, and the ING Fashion Show, which will have a new look.

In addition, attending the conference will provide the opportunity to experience the only resort destination in the world that combines both a Pete Dye masterpiece and a historic Donald Ross course. On Monday, attendees will have an option to compete in the annual International Pairs Qualifier on the new Pete Dye golf course or the ING Scramble on the newly restored Donald Ross layout.

If you are in the golf or media business, then register today and take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to network and learn more about the business of golf and experience one of America’s great golf destinations.
