Sanford, FL – Rife would like to congratulate the winner of the Cap Cana Championship held this past weekend on The Champions Tour at the Punta Espada Golf Club in Cap Cana, Dominican Republic. Using his RIFE 2 Bar Blade putter, the winner ranked T-1st in Putts Per Round earning a paycheck for $315,000. RIFE dominated the putting statistics at the tournament as the winner, 2nd Place Finisher, and 5th Place Finisher all used RIFE putters to T-1st in Putts Per Round. RIFE earned $809,691.00 at the event accounting for nearly 40% of the total purse, proving once again that it pays to play a RIFE Putter!
The winner finished at 13 under par in dramatic fashion by eagling the 17th Hole to cinch a one stroke victory. RIFE Putters finished 1-2 at the event. The winner played a Two Bar Blade and the 2nd Place Finisher played a RIFE Island Series Cayman putter. RIFE once again ranked 1st on the Darrell Survey with 21 putters in play at The Cap Cana Championship.
RIFE just missed capturing a victory on the Nationwide Tour this past weekend as well at the Chitimacha Louisiana Open held at Le Triomphe Country Club in Broussard, LA. It took a sudden death playoff to determine who the champion would be. Using his RIFE Two Bar Hybrid Mallet he battled back from T-18th Place at the beginning of the final round on Sunday and shot 5 under par 66 to tie for the lead. A birdie on the 1st Hole by his competitor ended the contest but the 2nd Place Finisher earned $59,400.00 for his efforts moving him to 13th on the Nationwide Tour’s Official Money List.
Week in and week out players on the PGA, Champions and Nationwide Tours rely on RIFE’s RollGrooveTM Technology to earn their paychecks. With over $40 Million in earnings and no endorsed players, its obvious that RIFE Putters has found that for the Tour Players, winning is everything.
About RIFE Putters
All of RIFE’s Putters are high-end CNC milled putters that offer the same patented RollGrooveTM Technology and patent pending Lie-Aline System.
Rife Putters, LLC is the true innovator behind horizontal grooved face putter technology with a patent on specifically sized grooves since 1997. These precisely spaced grooves allow the putter to gently press into the cover of the ball and grip and lift it into an instant forward roll. Guerin Rife states, “just as grooves in irons help control spin so do grooves in a putter face.” Other companies are now trying to imitate this patented technology but the spacing of the grooves is the true key to the gripping and lifting effect of grooved face putter technology. Horizontal RollGrooveTM faced putters create the truest “no skid” roll in golf no matter where you hit the ball on the putter face.
