PrideSports Laps The Golf Cleat Field In Winning PGA TOUR’s Arnold Palmer Invitational, Outdistancing The Competition At Bay Hill By 2-1 Ratio

PrideSports & Softspikes Also Captures Victory On Nationwide, Champions & LPGA Tours

Brentwood, Tennessee, March 30, 2009 … PrideSports, maker of Softspikes® golf cleats – the world’s best selling cleat brand, and Fast-Twist® – the #1 insert system on the PGA TOUR, had an outstanding weekend in professional golf, winning the cleat field at the PGA TOUR’s Arnold Palmer Invitational while outdistancing the competition by a nearly 2-1 ratio. PrideSports, led by the Softspikes brand, also captured victories at the Nationwide Tour’s Chitimacha Louisiana Open, the Champions Tour’s Cap Cana Championship and the LPGA’s Phoenix International.

At the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill, nearly 55% of the overall cleat field utilized PrideSports’ stable of products, including the Black Widow® and Pulsar® cleat models, while nearly lapping all other cleat brands. At both the Nationwide Tour’s Chitimacha Louisiana Open and the Champions Tour’s Cap Cana Championship, the winners and 32 of the top 36 finishers wore PrideSports products. Additionally, at the LPGA’s Phoenix International, the winner, 6 of the top 9 finishers, and 21 of the leaderboard’s top 33 players, all wore PrideSports products.
