March 30, 2009-CHICAGO-Contrary to popular belief, you don’t have to belong to an exclusive private country club like Medinah, North Shore or Olympia Fields to experience the treatment of golfing royalty, thanks to an exclusive program recently unveiled by TopGolf Wood Dale.
TopGolf is the $9 million golf entertainment center on Thorndale Road in the near western suburbs where Chicagoans have flocked since it’s opening in October, 2007. The technologically advanced three-tiered facility has announced plans for the “TopGolf Players Club,” an elite group of people who live for the game of golf. These players will receive specialty treatment only afforded those on the PGA Tour.
TopGolf will be accepting a limited number of individuals into the Player’s Club and will extend benefits, equipment offerings and courtesies more accustomed for PGA Tour pros. “This is a program that we have created for those golfers who literally eat, drink and breathe the game,” explains Mike Gallagher, Fitting Specialist at TopGolf.
“Our Players Club is designed for our members to experience the exceptional treatment PGA Tour players are accustomed to when they step foot onto the course,’ explains Gallagher. “Having their own custom-designed shag bag, 100 Titleist ProV1 Practice Balls every time they arrive, a special player’s lounge and unique tournaments just for them – it’s all part of the club membership.”
Benefits that members of the TopGolf Players Club will receive include:
VIP practice privileges at TopGolf including a custom designed and embroidered Titleist shag bag filled with one hundred 2009 Titleist ProV1 practice balls to provide an enhanced practice experience.
Monthly tournaments held both on and off site in a variety of formats and culminating in a season-ending championship with the top prize of $1,000.

The initial offering of the TopGolf Top Player’s Club will be limited to the first 50 players to join. Cost is $325 for the first season and participants will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
