NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (March 31st, 2009) – KZG’s award-winning forged irons were on display at last week’s Cap Cana Championship. Keith Fergus won his second career title on the Champions Tour after holing-out for eagle on number 17 and shooting a final round score of 67. It was a dramatic performance as Keith rallied to shoot five-under par on the back nine to win by one stroke. After his victory, he personally informed KZG that he was playing the Forged Cavity Back II-M irons.

Keith was custom-fit by Mike Nugent from Impact Golf & Racket in Houston, TX. Mike is a KZG Master Clubfitter and member of the International Professional Association of ClubFitters (IPAC). During a recent visit to KZG headquarters, Keith stated that working with Mike Nugent and KZG had changed his game. It was the first time he was custom fit by a Master Clubfitter which gave him renewed confidence. To view a short interview with Keith at KZG’s headquarters, please visit www.kzg.com.

“We are so proud that Keith won his first Champions Tour event this year using KZG. And we know more wins are in store as he is working on bringing more KZG clubs into play. He is a strong believer in KZG products, a great ambassador for custom fitting and an all-around class-act,” said Jennifer King, President of KZG.

KZG, the #1 Custom ProLine™, is renowned for its high-quality forging process. The CB-II M irons are one of 7 different sets of forged irons that KZG offers. KZG only uses premium carbon steel bars that are double-forged and handcrafted entirely in Japan, where quality control and perfection are a national mandate. The double-forging process compresses the molecular structure of the steel to eliminate all voids and imperfections, thus assuring maximum consistency, workability and feel. The fact that KZG forgings are completed in one-piece rather than two makes it a popular choice for competitive players.

Founded in 1994, KZG offers equipment available in the finest retail facilities with authorized KZG professional clubfitters on staff. KZG’s program of partnering with only the top professional clubfitters to fit its award-winning equipment has catapulted KZG to a position of prominence in customized golf equipment. KZG’s comprehensive selection of premium golf equipment includes the finest drivers, woods, irons, wedges and putters, in addition to a wide variety of accessories and apparel.
