MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – Bubba Dickerson said it best after his playoff victory at the Louisiana Open on March 29.
“You look good, you feel good, you play good,” said Dickerson, the first Sligo Wear staff player to win a professional tournament this season.
Dickerson, the 2001 U.S. Amateur champion, sported pieces of Sligo Wear’s 2009 Collection en route to pocketing $99,000 and moving to fifth on the Nationwide Tour money list with $103,582.
The 2009 Sligo Wear Collection is now available at golf shops and retail stores across North America and can be viewed on Sligo Wear’s new, enhanced Web site www.sligowear.com.

Dickerson, who won more than $189,000 on the Nationwide Tour in 2008, is one of several Sligo Wear staff players, including Brian Gay on the PGA Tour and Steve LeBrun, Justin Hicks and Travis Perkins on the Nationwide Tour.
In addition, Sligo Wear apparel is being worn by well-known PGA teaching professional Jeff Ritter, Director of Instruction at the ASU Karsten Golf Academy in Tempe, Ariz.
Sligo Wear was founded by a group of friends and active golfers each of who were frustrated by a lack of fashionable and proper fitting affordable golf apparel in the market place. At Pro Am to the Azores in early 2004, they noticed a different fashion for golf apparel and upon their started Sligo Wear Inc.
Sligo Wear was an immediate success in the Canadian market and in 2007, the company signed a deal with Fairway Styles Inc. of Richmond, Va., to bring fashion change to the U.S. market.
