Las Vegas’ Nick Watney Could Be Best Golf Bet at The Masters
Las Vegas resident Nick Watney has made every cut so far this PGA Tour season, won the Buick Invitational, and challenged for a few other titles. And, oh yeah, he finished tied for 11th at the 2008 Masters. The Las Vegas Hilton Superbook listed him at 40-1 the day before the tournament, a pretty good value for one of the best players in 2009. “He opened up a long time ago at 250-1, but his good form recently plus his good finish last year has the public looking at him,” said Jeff Sherman, Race and Sportsbook Assistant Manager. “The public stated looking at him when he got to about 80-1.”

Wolf Creek Golf Club Partners With World Golf Tour
The Las Vegas Golf Region is full of award-winning and nationally-recognized Las Vegas golf courses, and one that continues to garner the attention of golfers across the globe is Wolf Creek Golf Club, a course that is located about 77 miles from Las Vegas in Mesquite, Nevada. Last year the course was included as a fantasy golf course in the EA Sports Tiger Woods PGA Tour ’09 video game, and now comes word that the resort Wolf Creek Golf Club is now part of the World Golf Tour online playing experience. “World Golf Tour is pleased to offer one of the most challenging, diverse and respected courses in the world to our community,” said YuChiang Cheng, CEO of World Golf Tour.
