VooDoo drives Nationwide Tour winner to victory

POWAY, Calif. – Aldila made a clean sweep on the Tours this past weekend posting wins on the PGA, Nationwide and Champions Tours. The PGA’s Verizon Heritage winner dominated the field using an Aldila NV. Nick Price, Aldila Advisory Staff player, posted his first win on the Champions Tour using Aldila’s NV and NVS shafts. Wrapping up the golf “trifecta”, the winner of the Nationwide Tour’s Athens Regional Foundation Classic won in sudden death using Aldila’s latest shaft the VooDoo featuring S-core Technology in his Driver and 3 Wood and the VS Proto in his hybrid.

What sets the VooDoo apart from other shafts is its patent-pending S-core (stabilized core) Technology™ designed to maximize distance and provide outstanding accuracy.

“The real ‘magic’ of the VooDoo is its high modulus carbon stabilization rib that runs the length of the shaft and keeps the shaft more concentric, preventing shaft ovaling, deformation and wasted energy during the golf swing,” said Stewart Bahl, Aldila’s Marketing Manager. “The innovative rib structure increases hoop strength/stiffness so much that it is 80 percent greater than conventional graphite, and up to 60 percent greater than competitors’ attempts at cross-sectional stabilization.”

Aldila has the unique ability to fuse high-end design with cutting edge technology. They are continually on the leading edge of the golf world through their relentless pursuit of the next best innovation.
