VANCOUVER, British Columbia (April 22, 2009)-A player on the Duramed Futures Tour won last week’s Louisiana Pelican Classic with eight Miura Golf MC-102 irons in her bag. She finished at 8-under 136 to earn a three-stroke, rain-shortened (to 36 holes) victory at The Wetlands in Lafayette, La., while using the MC-102 3-iron through pitching wedge, all with Nippon NS Pro shafts.
The player, in her third 2009 event, earned $12,600 for her first victory this year, placing her second on the money list with $15,515 in earnings. She leads this year’s tour with a 71.38 average score. Last year she earned her first career Duramed Futures Tour victory at The Gettysburg (Pa.) Championship.
