The Golf Inc. Conference held recently at the World Golf Village received high ratings in a survey of attendees.
“We are thrilled with the response and the continued commitment from our core attendees – golf course owners, developers and management company executives,” said Jack Crittenden, president and publisher of Golf Inc. “Our attendance numbers were down, as expected because of the economy. But, quality stayed very high and the attendee survey shows attendees were very pleased overall.”
More than 420 people registered for the March 30-April 1 event, down 15 percent from the previous conference in the fall. Almost 93 percent of all attendees rated the overall conference as “good” or better.
The next Golf Inc. Conference, with ValleyCrest Golf Course Maintenance as presenting sponsor, will be held Sept. 14-16 at La Quinta Resort & Club in La Quinta, Calif. This will be the third Golf Inc. Conference at the resort, with events in 2006 and 2007 having received rave reviews from attendees and exhibitors.
The exhibit hall will again be limited to 40 booths, with special events taking place in the hall on Monday evening, Tuesday evening and Wednesday at lunch.
“We continue to provide exhibitors with a unique opportunity to connect with industry’s leaders in an intimate and high quality environment,” Crittenden said.
