April 24, 2009 (Oak Brook Terrace, IL) Zero Friction staff player Kenny Perry is well on his way to having a career year in 2009. After a 2008 which included 3 wins and a spot on the victorious U.S. Ryder Cup Team, Perry has already shown he is at the top of his game this year.
Perry has not missed a single cut in 2009, playing on the weekend in all ten events he has participated in. That streak has included six top-ten finishes and a victory at the FBR Open in February.
Quite possibly the most noted event this year for Perry was the Masters. After a seesaw battle throughout the final round, Perry would eventually finish second after being in a playoff with Angel Cabrera and Chad Campbell. Perry was seen by millions of viewers on Sunday with a citrus green Zero Friction Tee in his mouth before teeing off on the par 3- 16th hole. His shot would dramatically roll to within inches of the hole and was the shot of the tournament.
Currently, Perry is 3rd in FedEx Cup standings and is 5th in the Official World Golf Rankings.
