Spring Schedule Includes Ladies Clinic, Adult Tune-Up Clinic, Ladies Beginner Golf School, Short Game School
BASKING RIDGE, N.J., April 27, 2009…New Jersey National Golf Club, a private 18-hole Championship Golf Course located in Basking Ridge, N.J., recently announced the 2009 Adult Clinic schedule, featuring the Ladies Spring Clinic, Adult Tune-Up Clinic, Ladies Beginner Golf School and Adult Short Game School. Each respective program is open to the public and includes expert instruction from the staff PGA Professionals at New Jersey National.
New Jersey National is teeing off this golf season with the Ladies Spring Clinic — offering a one-hour session for three consecutive weeks — designed to help lady golfers strike the ball more consistently and lower their scores. The first clinic will be held May 6th, 13th and 20th from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., the second clinic will be June 3rd, 10th and 17th from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and the final clinic will be June 3rd, 10th and 17th from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. The price per student is $95.
The Club is also offering Adult Tune-Up Clinics, designed to prepare a golfer’s game for the season. These clinics will cover all shotmaking situations, including long, chipping, bunker play and any specific trouble areas for those who may be a bit rusty since last season. There will be two sessions offered with the first May 16th and 17th from 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m., and the second July 18th and 19th from 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. The cost is also $95 per student.
The Ladies Beginner Golf School is ideally suited for new players who have had limited experience or are just starting out. This program provides instruction tailored to the novice player, while ensuring that each respective golfer is not overwhelmed while learning the concepts of the game. Sessions will take place June 5th, 12th and 19th from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m., and June 26th from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
The Adult Short Game School, designed to elevate a golfer’s game around the green, provides techniques in four key areas of short game including putting, chipping, pitching and greenside bunker play. The Adult Short Game School will be offered on May 16th and 17th or June 6th and June 7th from 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. The cost for the Ladies Beginner Golf School and Adult Short Game School is $200 per student.
