Mesa, AZ – Dixon Golf, manufacturer of the High-Performance Eco-Friendly Earth golf ball, announced today that they have partnered with the AAG Foundation (http://www.aagfoundation.org) to sponsor The Athlete of the Year Charity Golf Tournament which will be held Friday, May 1st at the Celebrity Golf Club International in Tucker, GA.
The Athlete of the Year Charity Golf Tournament is an event in which former NFL, NBA, and WNBA stars come together for a round of golf in support of a common goal. Some of the celebrities scheduled to attend include former NBA superstars Michael Jordan, Dr. Julius Erving, and Alonzo Mourning as well as NFL Pro Bowler Ray Lewis. The Organization’s mission is “Empowering athletes to impact communities through education and social development.” In the same way that the Eco-Friendly Dixon Earth ball gives back to Mother Earth by being 100% Renewable, these athletes and volunteers are uniting athletes throughout the world in an effort to give something back to those less fortunate.
Each golfer who participates in the Charity Golf Tournament will receive a sleeve of Dixon Earth golf balls so they can experience for themselves the benefits of this High-Performance golf ball while being 100% Eco-Friendly at the same time.
Amazingly; Dixon didn’t have to sacrifice playability to become environmentally friendly. Just the opposite, the Dixon Earth golf ball outperformed the Nike One Platinum, Callaway Tour ix and Titleist Pro V1, in independent testing by PGA TOUR Partners Club, and received an incredible 92% Approval Rating!
Dixon Earth – Good For The Environment Better For Your Game!

Even the packaging is made from 100% recycled material. From core to cover, from packaging to production, Dixon Earth is setting a new standard in environmental consciousness.
