April 30, 2009 (Oak Brook Terrace, IL) – Zero Friction Tees are represented each week on every professional golf tour around the world. Staff player Kenny Perry has already made incredible strides in 2009 and still with 3 majors left on the schedule. Along with Perry, several other Zero Friction staff players have been making their presence felt on tour.
Vicky Hurst, who is in her rookie season on the LPGA has been showing poise beyond her years. Hurst, who will be 19 in June, is coming off of an outstanding career on the Duramed Futures Tour. So far in 2009 she has 3 top- 25 finishes including placing 10th at the Corona Championship. Hurst is 3rd on tour in driving distance (276 yards) and is also highly ranked in sand saves and eagles.
Bubba Dickerson already has a victory on the Nationwide Tour in 2009 with a dramatic win at the Chitimacha Louisiana Open. Dickerson has made 5 of 8 tournament cuts thus far and is averaging 290 yards per drive. He currently sits in 9th place on the Nationwide Tour money list.
PGA Professional Mark Wilson has also posted a victory this year using Zero Friction Tees. Wilson took home hardware at the Mayakoba Classic; he also had a top-25 finish at the Transitions Championship. Wilson’s driving accuracy on the PGA Tour this year is 66% (5% better than the tour average) and is 97th in the Official World Golf Rankings.
Ryan Palmer, also on the PGA Tour, has made 6 of 11 tournament cuts this season. Palmer is averaging 292 yards off the tee which is 9 yards better than the tour average. He matches his distance with a quality short game as he is 8th on tour in eagles.
Dean Wilson has finished in the top-25 at the Verizon Heritage, Northern Trust Open, and Buick Invitational. He has made 7 of 11 tournament cuts on the PGA Tour so far in 2009 and ranks in the top-25 in putting average and birdie average on tour.
