The company was founded specifically to provide dedicated, cost-effective consulting and direct marketing resources to destinations, resorts and corporate clients in need of proven industry expertise and resources to generate awareness and drive revenue within the golf vertical market. Some of The Golf Connection clients include destinations (The Jamaica Tourism Board, Australia Week Organizing Committee), golf resorts (CordeValle Resort, Hershey Resort, Tucson National, and The Four Seasons), and special events (Eric Trump Foundation).
The Golf Connection LLC creates customized marketing programs, sales strategies and special events for its clients. Many of these programs offer direct benefits and unique golf travel experiences to consumers, while also providing sponsors the valuable opportunity to identify and reach avid-core golfers who are best prospects for their products. The company currently operates destination pro-ams in Jamaica and Tucson, as well as the inaugural Hershey Amateur, a regional NET stroke-play tournament debuting in October.

Background on Founding Partners:
Tom Jaronski began his professional career with the PGA TOUR, starting as a Production Assistant in the organization’s TV production unit. After four years, Tom joined the Corporate Marketing Department to manage the Tour’s national sponsorships. In 1997, he joined the NBC Television Network as Manager, Sports and Event Marketing.
After 10 years in television and entertainment, Tom moved into print media joining the Golf Digest Companies as Director, Events and Sports Marketing in 1999. In this role, he directed customer event programs, brand sponsorships, and client entertainment platforms for Golf Digest, Golf World, and Golf Shop Operations magazines. In 2004, he was appointed Director of Marketing for Travel + Leisure Golf. During his tenure, T+L Golf developed unprecedented partnerships with Tourism Destinations around the globe and leading golf properties such as the USGA and PGA of America.
Rich Taylor is a 20-year golf industry veteran with extensive experience in operations, sales and marketing, as well as tournament and event management.
As Director, National Golf Sales & Marketing for Destination Hotels & Resorts, his leadership provided the portfolio’s resorts with strategic marketing and sales efforts that increased new revenue streams and brand awareness.
Rich also was personally responsible for securing and managing 2 USGA Championships, 4 NCAA National Golf Championships, 2 internationally televised PGA Club Professional Championships, and the Shell’s Wonderful World of Golf made-for-TV special featuring PGA TOUR stars John Daly and Fred Couples, all of which were staged at Sunriver Resort. Prior to DH&R, Rich worked for the Pebble Beach Company and Marriott Inc. in golf operations.
