Multi-Membership Golf Group Announces Affordable Way To Play Private Country Clubs

May 11, 2009

CHICAGO (May 8, 2009) – With television ads running this weekend during the final round of The Players Championship, the MultiMembership Golf Group will officially announce its groundbreaking new golf membership, the MM Players Club.

Starting next Monday morning, May 11, the MM Players Club sales team will be manning the phones to begin selling a product unlike any other.

The ”MM” stands for Multi-Membership, and with an MM Players Club card, that’s exactly what you get: access to multiple private country clubs for one annual fee. Currently, there are 14 private country clubs in Chicagoland and just beyond that have partnered with the MM Players Club. The company expects that number grow significantly during the 2009 golf season.

A charter membership costs only $1,000 (less when signing up as a group). Once in the MM Players Club, here’s what members get:

Make tee times at partner clubs

Bring three guests for every round

Entire foursome pays only guest fees

Use of the dining room/locker room at most partner clubs

The MultiMembership Golf Group is headed by Mike Munro, owner of the White Pines Golf Dome in Bensenville.

“If you’ve never had the opportunity to play country club golf, now is your chance,” Munro said.

It’s hard to believe, but it’s true: one annual membership, 14 pristine private country clubs, with more being added every day – all for $1,000.

“Our partner clubs aren’t going public,” Munro said. “They’re choosing the alternative: remaining profitable so they can maintain their privacy. We’re just trying to help them facilitate that.

“Meanwhile, our members will have the opportunity to play golf at some beautiful private courses they otherwise might never have had access to.”
