DENVER, May 11, 2009 – The winner of The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., won using the YES! C-Groove Donna putter.
The Donna is a hybrid putter composed of two different materials. The face is made of aviation-grade aluminum and the body is made of 304 stainless steel with a head weight of 355 grams. The combination of a light face and heavy back generates a high MOI. The design of the putter is a combination of a mallet and cavity-back blade design. The heel toe balance makes it a very forgiving putter. The full offset shaft features a double bend and the cavity of the putter head has a single alignment line. The putter is available in right and left hand for a suggested retail of $300.
This is the winner’s third victory since switching to the YES! Donna putter. At the end of 2008, he won the Omega Mission Hills World Cup of Golf and the Nedbank Golf Challenge. It is also YES! Golf’s second victory on the PGA Tour in 2009 – the winner of the Transitions Championship used the Tracy putter.
