Brentwood, Tenn., May 15, 2009 … As the Company’s newest cleat innovation, Black Widow® Tour™ arrives in stores throughout North America, PrideSports, maker of Softspikes® golf cleats and the world’s leading manufacturer of golf cleats, today announced that its worldwide cleat domination is as strong as ever. In fact, for the 13th consecutive year, Softspikes stands as the #1 brand on the PGA TOUR, according to the independent Darrell Survey. Additionally, Softspikes overwhelmingly commands the #1 position in worldwide plastic cleat sales at the combined retail, specialty, green grass and off-course channels.

Led by Softspikes’ arsenal of cleats, PrideSports has amassed nearly one thousand wins on the combined professional golf tours, while its weekly plastic cleat usage among tour players, as reported by the Darrell Survey, consistently surpasses that 70% mark.
